Adopt-A-Spot

Adopt-a-Spot is a Keep Victoria Beautiful program intended to encourage community clean-up involvement. The program allows businesses and individuals to commit themselves in cleaning and beautifying a specific area within the city.

  1. Begin by reviewing the contract: Adopt-a-Spot Contract

  2. To get started, select a spot:

    • Entryway sign located at State highway 185 N and US 59N
    • Tree island(s) alongside Eastbound Zac Lentz Parkway, between Northbound Navarro and Dairy Road
    • Tree island(s) alongside Eastbound Zac Lentz Parkway, between eastbound exit near Invitational Drive and North Navarro
    • Tree island(s) alongside Westbound Zac Lentz Parkway, between South Navarro and the onramp to Westbound Zac Lentz Parkway
    • Tree island(s) alongside Westbound Zac Lentz Parkway, between the onramp to Westbound Zac Lentz Parkway and Mallette Drive
    • Tree island(s) alongside Westbound Zac Lentz Parkway, between Northbound Navarro and Victoria Mall Drive

  3. Most spots have water available at the site; however if there is no water at your spot, cost for connecting to the City water system is $500.00

  4. Prepare a landscaping plan taking into consideration your site, budget and the use of native drought resistant plants. Local retail landscapers may be willing to help you with this plan.

  5. Submit your landscaping plan, signed contract and organizational logo to KVB via ed@keepvictoriabeautiful.com

  6. KVB will review your plan and contract and will respond within one week
